In coordination with the ACT Alliance Forum in Guatemala, the Jotay: ACTing Together Program participated in a campaign on the occasion of the International Day for Disaster Reduction held this past October.
The campaign’s goal was to promote, through digital publications, a culture for reducing disaster risks and to join in actions to be developed, as well as to identify advocacy opportunities for highlighting the ways in which governance, planning, and the implementation of risk reduction can reduce the number of people affected by disasters.
The campaign entailed 5 publications that illustrated initiatives and solutions focused on actions to be implemented to reduce or prevent future losses due to disasters, in the context of celebrating #IDDR with the slogan #ItsAllAboutGovernance.
