Gender Justice focused on Women´s Rights
Our Objective:
To generate political strength among indigenous and mestiza women in their diversity, contributing to political, economic, social, and cultural changes at both individual and collective levels to ensure their rights and gender justice.
Challenges:
In Guatemala, women, especially indigenous women, face severe inequalities, discrimination, and violence. These structural barriers limit their ability to live with dignity, access resources, achieve autonomy, and participate in decision-making.
Opportunities:
We strengthen alliances between women and men committed to equality and equity, challenging power structures, primarily patriarchy and racism.
Our Commitment:
To reduce gender gaps and create a safe, violence-free environment for all women. To promote female leadership and the development of positive masculinities, supporting women in creating autonomous and sustainable life projects.
