Our program strives to contribute to gender justice in Guatemala, centering the emphasis on women’s rights and focusing on three areas:
We identify and strive for multi-dimensional gender justice, which entails an end to social, political, economic, environmental, sexual, and cultural discrimination due to gender in all spheres. Gender inequality is not a ‘women’s problem’; rather, society as a whole should promote and foster a change to hierarchical paradigms that affect different groups.
